Peace Lutheran Church seeks a Part Time Music and Worship Curator to coordinate all aspects of the music program for a vibrant, welcoming, multi-generation faith community in Oshkosh, WI
Main tasks will be to help to enhance the worship life of the congregation through leadership, performance, and collaborative work with the members of the church, the pastor and staff. Candidate will be able to lead music in a variety of settings.
Leadership opportunities include directing the senior choir, coordinating with current musicians to help them as needed while recruiting and encouraging new volunteer musicians. Collaborative opportunities include worship planning with the pastor and staff, meeting with Worship committee, and envisioning the future of music programs at Peace.
Strong candidates will have skills in organization, planning, written and spoken communication, working well with others, along with the ability to lead worship and proficiency in an instrument such as piano, guitar or organ. All candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
Compensation for this position is being offered at 10 hours a week with the opportunity to add more hours in the future based on need. The pay rate will be $12-15 dollars an hour, based on experience.
